Dwarfs and Dynamite

A crew of dwarves has dug too deep. Every pixel of the cave around them is real: sand slumps, water floods, oil burns, and dynamite blows real craters. Hand out the right tools and get them home.

A pocket of gas in the cave goes up in a huge fireball, and the blast and debris rain down past the crew

Every pixel is real

There are no scripted set pieces. Every grain of sand, drop of water and lick of flame is simulated, so the cave reacts to whatever you do, including the things you didn't mean to.

A torch lights a pool of oil; the fire races along it and catches a wooden walkway
Fire

Light it and step back

Oil floats on water and burns. Wood catches and turns to ash. Smoke rises, steam rains back down, and lava cools into obsidian. Fire is a tool, and a danger to the crew.

A dwarf throws a grappling hook, swings across a chasm on the rope, and the rest of the crew follows
Ropes

Swing for it

Ropes and planks are physical too. Throw a grappling hook into the rock and swing across a chasm, pull a drawbridge down, or fire a dwarf out of a cannon. (Yes, really.)

The blast clears the cave and the crew walks on through the dust
Dynamite

Make your own way

Blasts carve real craters and throw real debris. Dig under a sand pile and it collapses. Breach a dam and the cave floods. Most levels have more than one way through.
